Our apartment

Apartment hunting here is a little bit different than in the land from which we hail. For one thing, most people don’t have cars. So apartment hunting means a lotttt of walking. Secondly, every one speaks a different language than we do! Thankfully, we had a friend named Angie who went with us to help us for the day- Wednesday, apartment hunting day. I’ll spare you the details, but after a long day filled with adventures and walking (and a meeting with the landlord so he and his wife could see if they liked the looks of us), we signed a lease for it- our apartment. We feel so blessed, and that we have truly been given a gift. It has lots of big windows and it’s super close to campus...it’s also close to other friends that we have here in the city.
