Badminton

You, like myself, may see the word badminton and think....well, if you think anything at all, you probably think “picnic game. Played it once. Sort of fun!” Or something similar. My dear friends, I am here to tell you that you are missing out! East Asian people are definitely light years ahead of America in this area...they are crazy about badminton! Like ping pong, they take the game very seriously. But unlike ping pong, it’s pretty simple! It is a great way to spend time with East Asian people, relax, but also get some serious exercise. This is an area we are trying to grow in... badminton playing! It can be played outside, but they also have a building that has an entire floor of badminton courts on campus as well. I had the opportunity to play with some of my classmates a few days ago, and we had a blast- two Korean girls and a Vietnamese girl. It’s a really good bonding experience, and super cultural. Pretty much every student in East Asia, especially the girls, really enjoy playing. Thankful for new hobbies, and hoping He’ll use it!
